
Ron Stamey
President & CEO
Ron has worked in television production, graphic design and web multimedia for 18 years.
A Western North Carolina native, Stamey, received his BS in Radio and Television from Western Carolina University. He also attended Warren Wilson College, where he studied business administration and the core values that has served him throughout his career.
Ron joined the local ABC affiliate – WLOS in 1988 as a producer/director. Stamey quickly moved through the ranks and at age 25 landed a contract with FOX-TV, making him one of the youngest Production Managers in company history. Stamey produced local and regional commercials and worked on a variety of television shows such as Good Morning America, Geraldo, ESPN, FOX Sports, and many more.
Recognizing the irreversible impact delivering media rich content on the Internet, Ron founded Timeline Group, Inc. The digital design studio is responsible for a multitude of national and regional web design projects, as well as TV programming, music and software development.
Ron needed a location that was adaptable to the ever-changing needs of his multimedia clients. Asheville, NC provided the perfect location and resources. "This move puts Timeline Group in the middle of the creative community," Stamey said. " With our new studio, the possibilities for production are literally endless.”
Ron is not only recognized for his business endeavors, but is also known for his civil and charitable work. Stamey has completed three marathons for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society raising money for research and finding a cure. Ron is also a private pilot and a senior member of the Civil Air Patrol - Asheville Composite Squadron.
Ron is married to Debbie Perryman and has two daughters; Jordan age 11 and Katie age 6. The family resides in Fairview, North Carolina.
